Lately the app crashes/stops anytime I manually turn off a plug or light. This is very disappointing. And tells me frequently that the costs it reports are estimates. It would be nice if the app would reflect actual costs or closer at keast, since that is data DTE should have, or at least not remind me constantly, interrupting me from using the smart controls. I am starting to think I should use a different smart controller app or ecosystem.

I've had this for 7 years, and I really used to enjoy using it to see how I used my electricity, but recently the quality of the data has really gone downhill. The data takes too long to populate, and oftentimes it's missing altogether or never loads at all. Very frustrating user experience. Nobody at support could help either, so I ended up returning the insights bridge and unfortunately won't be part of the program anymore.

It worked for about 2 months, but starting mid november, it really took a fall, constantly saying that it is still collecting data for this cycle, but worked before whatever update caused this. Didnt have the bridge, so i dont have the constant update, but even so, it updated the day after, but didnt happen since mid november. Once i uninstalled and reinstalled, it worked fine, and it is really helpful monitoring our energy usage.
